Client: Shop 857 
Project: Brand Identity, collateral design & Interior Design
We were contacted to create a women's retail space in the the Lincoln Park section of Chicago with an industrial chic theme. A few months later Shop 857 opened its doors. Using the duel meaning of the word Shop we played off the idea of am industrial work shop being taken over by a retail womens shop to create a space where women can retreat to after work to shop. Using industrial elements such as copper piping and steel combined with pink neon, Oscar De La Renta fabrics, clean open space and bright lighting we created a modern yet industrial feel for Shop 857. Sticking with the original neon inspired Shop 857 word mark, we expanded the identity by creating custom type for other aspects of the project using the same style as well as playing off the multiple meanings of shop on different collateral.
